Three Elemica Directors Named Provider Pros to Know

Wayne, PA - February 22, 2019 - Elemica, the leading Digital Supply Network for process manufacturing industries, announces that three of their supply chain professionals have been named 2019 Provider Pros to Know by Supply & Demand Chain Executive magazine: Omar Nadi, Director of Supplier Product Management; Chris Abato, Director of Professional Services; and Gary Neights, Senior Director of Product Management.

The Pros to Know Awards recognize supply chain executives, and manufacturing and non-manufacturing enterprises, that are leading initiatives to help prepare their companies' supply chains for the significant challenges of today's business climate. This year's list includes more than 200 individuals from software firms and service providers, consultancies or academia, who helped their supply chain, clients or the supply chain community at large, prepare to meet these challenges—and more than 40 Practitioner Pros, who do the same within their own companies.

"These three Elemica leaders deserve this prestigious award based on their innovative thinking and focus on helping our clients meet the challenges of the global process industry," said John Blyzinskyj, CEO of Elemica. "By leveraging their deep expertise and thought leadership, along with Elemica's innovative solutions and digital network, client organizations gain a competitive advantage from the digital transformation of their supply chains."

"Every year we receive more submissions from outstanding supply chain leaders. It's evidence of the growth in the supply chain profession as well as the importance of the profession within companies. Supply & Demand Chain Executive congratulates the 2019 Supply & Demand Chain Executive Pros to Know recipients. Our Pros to Know listing showcases the leaders and innovators shaping the profession and making substantial impact on their companies," says John Yuva, editor for Supply & Demand Chain Executive. "We commend this year's recipients for their achievements in supply chain and for paving the way for the next generation of exceptional supply chain leaders. This year's recipients embody the commitment to transformative supply chain tools and processes, earning these individuals a rightful place in this year's Pros to Know listing."

Omar Nadi is an experienced supply chain product leader focused on digital supply chain transformation and supplier relationship management. Omar manages the Elemica BUY solution which incorporates vendor-managed inventory which can reduce processing costs, free up human capital, cut overtime and rush shipments and improve operational planning. Omar's deep understanding of Supplier Relationship Management helped a leading global tire manufacturer remove upwards of $800,000 in annual cost spent on expedited freight. By automating the procure-to-pay business process, Elemica increased productivity and improved operational efficiency in this client's supply chain. Linking the complete inbound supply chain including suppliers, carriers, freight forwarders and third-party logistics providers on the Elemica Network, provided the complete end-to-end visibility needed to eliminate costly expedited freight.

Chris Abato is responsible for managing professional services and implementation, including setting up new clients and managing trading partner connections to the network. One new client that Chris worked with was able to get 25% of their business set up for EDI connection to the Elemica Network. Chris then automated the onboarding of the other 75% of suppliers by using the Elemica QuickLink Email solutions. Chris supplied the client with the training required to onboard future partners themselves saving hundreds of thousands of dollars and making it easier to add future connections.

Gary Neights has over three decades of experience as a thought leader in the industry and drives the product direction of the Elemica MOVE Customer Management Solution. He frequently writes articles for publication in trade journals and presents at industry conferences around the globe. At Elemica, Gary is involved in many clients and sales meetings where he discusses innovative technologies like Blockchain, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning and other emerging technologies. He understands client systems and processes and knows how to apply late-breaking thinking and approaches to bridge the gap between what customers want and need and what is available.
