Pelican BioThermal Opens Service Centers in Basel & Berlin

BERLIN - October 10, 2018 - Pelican BioThermal, the global name in temperature controlled packaging, announces the opening of new service centers in Basel, Switzerland and Berlin, Germany. The new facilities are the latest in the company's growing global expansion to support their complete portfolio of Credo reusable shippers, from parcel to pallet sizes.

Situated in key logistics locations for both pharmaceutical manufacturing and transfer, the Basel and Berlin hubs will enable global Pelican BioThermal clients to receive and return the reusable Credo line of temperature controlled packaging.


"To serve the needs of our global clients, we will continue to make significant investments in key locations worldwide," says Kevin Lawler, vice president of sales at Pelican BioThermal. "We are delighted to announce the opening of our latest locations in Basel and Berlin."

The location complements the existing and expanding network of service centers, network stations and rental drop-off points across Europe, Asia and the Americas. The service centers will offer cleaning, refurbishment, repair and conditioning of Credo Cube temperature-controlled shippers.

"These additional facilities in Europe will support Pelican BioThermal's industry-leading Credo line of reusable temperature controlled shippers," Lawler states. "Adding to Pelican BioThermal's growing infrastructure of service centers, network stations and drop points, planned to exceed 100 sites by early 2019. These service centers will also support our rental programs, such as Credo on Reserve and our Credo on Demand with locally available trained staff, available inventory of shippers and replacement parts."
