Instawork seeking to bring on a surplus of skilled workers to help local businesses meet increased customer demand

100,000 Hourly Workers Needed for Busy Holiday Season

San Francisco, CA — Instawork, the leading flexible staffing solution connecting local businesses with skilled hourly professionals across the U.S., announced today a call for at least 100,000 skilled hourly Professionals (Pros) to join the Instawork platform over the next three months. This announcement comes as many businesses are preparing for the busiest holiday season in almost two years.

According to a recent report from the Bureau of Labor, there are 3.5 million fewer people in the workforce today, relative to February 2020. Furthermore, the July 2021 Labor report found the hospitality industry is down 1.7 million jobs, and the overall turnover rate has reached close to 60%.

Instawork uses predictive algorithms with machine learning to seamlessly connect thousands of businesses and more than one million workers, using a multitude of data points to ensure the best match between the business’ staffing needs and the Pro’s skill set and experience. Hourly professionals leverage Instawork to achieve work flexibility, higher wages, and higher satisfaction with their career path. Instawork helps businesses in food & beverage, hospitality, and warehouse/logistics industries fill temporary and permanent roles in more than 25 U.S. markets.

Critical open roles this holiday season include:

  • Servers
  • Bartenders
  • Cooks
