Stenn International Ltd.'s Victor Yankovsky to Speak at ICC Academy's SCF Summit

[London, UK - February 19, 2019] - Stenn International Ltd. ("Stenn"), a provider of trade financing solutions across global markets, is proud to announce that Victor Yankovsky, Managing Director of Business Development, will speak at the International Chamber of Commerce Academy's 8th Supply Chain Finance Summit on February 28, 2019 at 2:10 PM SGT in Singapore.

Yankovsky will be participating on a panel on supply chain finance innovations and the global regulatory environment, addressing the question: did compliance and regulation halt the growth of supply chain finance?

"It's always important to think critically about the state of the supply chain finance industry and global trade as a whole, especially in the current risky geopolitical environment," said Stenn Group President Kerstin Braun. "Compliance issues and regulations have prevented multinational banks from providing finance solutions to countries, particularly those in emerging markets. If the global economy continues down this path of volatility, even more stringent regulations will develop, further reducing banks' appetites for cross-border trade financing.

"We're here to tell companies that alternative trade finance solutions exist. Stenn is in business solely to provide reliable finance solutions for clients, no matter what the geopolitical situation happens to be. With a portfolio of 70 countries, we are truly a global company, unencumbered by bank regulations and actively seeking to help companies that trade internationally."

The ICC Academy's SCF Summit kicks off on February 27, 2019. The two-day event will cover a wide range of issues: from the impact of isolationism on the supply chain to alternative finance innovations and the digitalization of trade. The summit offers in-depth panel discussions, key case study examinations and a platform for informal dialogue between all the stakeholders involved in global trade and supply chain finance.
