Raymond Showcases Cutting-Edge Innovations at Future Tech Live! During Comic-Con

Company makes debut at event to present first-of-its-kind virtual reality technology and real-time location tracking system

This week, The Raymond Corporation is attending Future Tech Live! during Comic-Con International in San Diego from July 18 to 21 to showcase some of its newest innovations: the Raymond Virtual Reality Simulator and its Raymond Tracking Location System. Future Tech Live! convenes and celebrates the boldest innovators in virtual reality (VR), augmented reality, robotics and Internet of Things. Raymond will be showcasing its award-winning VR technology and demonstrating how intralogistics solutions can be used for workforce educational purposes within the warehouse and beyond.

"Raymond is thrilled to be showcasing its products and solutions alongside some of the industry's most cutting-edge innovators," said Michael Field, CEO, Raymond. "With tools like the Raymond Virtual Reality Simulator and Raymond Tracking Location System, Raymond is adding to the rapidly changing ecommerce industry — helping organizations manage their workforce education needs and getting products into consumers' hands more efficiently than ever before."

To attract industry talent and reach higher operator proficiency levels, virtual reality instructional tools help ensure lift truck operators are coached more quickly and confidently — all before reaching the warehouse floor. The Raymond Virtual Reality Simulator — the next generation in lift truck operator learning — leverages a high-powered gaming system to provide advanced, hands-on instruction that is designed to improve operator skills, build employee confidence and help retain staff, all while increasing a business's productivity and efficiency.

The Raymond Tracking Location System (RTLS) tracks assets through a warehouse, offering metrics on truck and operator behaviors within one comprehensive suite of capabilities. The RTLS provides customers with real-time data about zoning, vehicle tracking, operator tracking and vehicle utilization. This information provides warehouse management with insights on operator training needs and identifies areas to maximize warehouse efficiency.

Comic-Con attendees can visit Raymond's booth, Booth 2, at the Future Tech Live! pavilion in the Grand Ballroom of the Omni San Diego Hotel, 675 L Street, San Diego, to see these innovative, intelligent workforce solutions in action. Visitors can put on a headset while using the controls of a real forklift to try the Virtual Reality Simulator and test the RTLS technology via remote-controlled forklifts. Raymond's intralogistics solutions experts will be available to assist and answer any questions.

In addition to demonstrations, Stacey Patch, business manager for the Raymond Virtual Reality Simulator, will participate in an expert-led panel, "Rising Stars in Tech: Drivers of Innovation and Entertainment (and How to Join Them)," providing advice and best practices for tech and gaming startups. The panel session will be held Friday, July 19, at 6:30 p.m. in room 5AB.
