Yale Showcases Comprehensive Suite of Lift Truck Power Options at Promat 2019

Yale Materials Handling Corporation announces its comprehensive power suite at ProMat 2019.

CHICAGO (April 08, 2019) - While today's supply chains constantly explore advanced, experimental technologies to streamline costs and boost performance, re-examining often-overlooked lift truck power strategies can actually unlock meaningful advantages. At ProMat booth #S3603, Yale Materials Handling Corporation is showcasing its suite of proven lift truck power options that optimize fleet structure, productivity, labor efficiency and more.

Yale offers the broadest range of power options available across its comprehensive range of lift trucks. This provides customers with a solution built solely around their unique operational requirements, rather than manufacturer constraints for limited power options and compatibility with a narrow range of lift truck models.

The Yale power suite includes:

Hydrogen fuel cells - Refuel in as quickly as 3 minutes and get consistent power until depletion, while reclaiming operations space thanks to an efficient fueling footprint.

Lithium-ion batteries - Simple opportunity charging, zero battery maintenance and consistent performance in extreme temperatures offers flexible, dependable power.

Lead-acid batteries - The original, reliable electrification option offers low initial acquisition costs and can place a milder charging burden on electrical infrastructure.

Internal-combustion engines - Consistent, high power for even the toughest jobs, with fast refueling and exceptional durability.

"Just as equipment and workflows are tailored to unique operational requirements, businesses can reap substantial efficiency gains from a lift truck power solution designed around them," says Steven LaFevers, Vice President, Motive Power and Telematics, Yale Materials Handling Corporation. "The breadth and depth of our power offering enables the best option possible for our customers, all with the confidence of OEM support."
